Does anyone even use Interarchy, the oooooold FTP software from the days of yore? Well if you do, then good for you. I heard a rumor that Jacqui only recently gave it up.

This evening (tomorrow in Australia), No Lobe Software announced that the company acquired Interarchy from developer Stairways Software. In accordance with the privacy policy, all the customer data is going to the new company. You'll be able to look up your serial numbers and so on (back to v4.0) at the No Lobe web site or remove your data if you don't want No Lobe to have it. No Lobe asks for your patience while they are transitioning. There are glitches in the web site. Fair warning.

Before one gets their panties in a knot, one should note that this is basically an employee buyout. Longtime lead developer Matthew Drayton formed No Lobe specifically to buy Interarchy. He's planning a free upgrade to v8.5 'soon' and a (paid upgrade to) v9.0 later this year. Hopefully it will be a good update. Or no one will notice and just continue to use Transmit.
